BOSTON – The Boston University women's lacrosse team is set to face No. 18 Navy on Saturday. Opening draw against the Mids is scheduled for noon.
 
TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU looks to earn its first win in league play after a 16-13 loss at Bucknell.
  • Junior Raegan Bailey had her best performance as a Terrier on the road against the Bison with four goals.
  • Freshman Tessa Geddes leads BU on the draw with 42 this season.
  • Senior Tobey Tick had two goals at Bucknell for her first goals since the game at Stonehill.
  • Senior Ellen Monahan has 19 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers this season.
  • Junior Hannah Tillier has the second-most goals for BU with 14 and points with 21.
  • Scoring in six out of seven games this season is junior Abby Cotraro who scored one goal at Bucknell.
  • Freshman netminder Natalie Aiosa made 10 saves against Bucknell which is her fourth occurrence this season.

  • Navy is 7-2 overall and 4-1 at home.
  • The Mids most recently fell to #8 Loyola 17-12.
  • Their other loss was to Drexel in a 13-12 outcome.
  • Navy is 2-1 against ranked foes with wins over then-#24 Duke and then-#20 Richmond.
  • The Mids won six games by eight or more goals.
  • Sixteen freshmen and 30 upperclassmen make up the Navy roster.
