BOSTON - The Boston University track & field teams competed at the Yale Elite Last Chance Meet and the NEICAAA Championships over the weekend.

TOP 10 TERRIERS

• Senior Dakota Jackson ran 10.44 wind-aided time in the 100m dash finals at the NEICAAA meet to take first in the event.
• Sophomore Vera Sjöberg made her 800m debut at the Yale meet and ran 2:10.45 to set the 10th-fastest time in BU history. She is the first Terrier to crack the outdoor 800m top-10 list since 2008.

TOP PERFORMERS - YALE ELITE MEET

• Freshman Shamiso Sikaneta took first in the 800m with a time of 1:49.96.
• Senior Juliana Nakouzi threw 14.05m (46' 1.25") in the shot put to place second.
• Junior Gabe Hickman also placed second in the shot put with a toss of 17.58m (57' 8.25").
• Senior Emma Kowalski threw for 53.25m (174' 8") in the hammer to win the event. She also placed second in the discus with a throw of 48.27m (158' 4").
• Sophomore Parker Schneider led BU in the 1,500m with a time of 3:45.24 to place third.

TOP PERFORMERS - NEICAAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

• Junior Asia Hamilton cleared 1.75m (5' 8.75") in the high jump to win the event.
• Sophomore Samantha Seabury ran a personal best 1500m time of 4:31.64 and placed sixth.
• Jackson also placed third in the 200m with a time of 21.61.
• Kowalski threw for 53.27m (174' 9") in the hammer to take second.

LOOKING AHEAD - NCAA EAST REGIONALS

• The field for the NCAA East Regionals will be decided early next week as multiple Terriers await the official news of qualification for the meet.
• This year's regionals will be hosted at Kentucky and will run from May 22-25.
