BOSTON – Beginning the second half of the Patriot League slate, the Boston University women's basketball program hosts Loyola Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 1. Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 5 p.m.
BU (8-12, 2-7 PL) looks to secure back-to-back wins at The Roof for the second time this season. Saturday marks the Terriers' fourth home game in the past five contests.
Loyola Maryland (7-13, 1-8 PL) searches for its first win since Jan. 13. The Greyhounds' last road victory took place at St. Bonaventure on Nov. 27, 2024.

- The Greyhounds have lost four games in a row, most recently dropping a 54-49 contest to Bucknell on Jan. 29.
- During the slide, Loyola is averaging just 44.5 points per game.
- Laura Salmerón scores 13.6 points per game on over 40 percent shooting.
- The Greyhounds have played a bulk of the season without Kimmie Hicks (14.6 points per game) and Lex Therien (13.3 points per game).
- Loyola Maryland was projected to finish first in the Patriot League preseason poll, with Therien tabbed as the Preseason Player of the Year.
