BOSTON – In a rematch of the 2024 Patriot League title game, the Boston University women's soccer program treks to Bucknell on Saturday (Oct. 11). Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.

BU (5-4-3, 2-1-1 PL) returns to the site where it captured its fifth Patriot League championship in program history back on Nov. 10, 2024. The Terriers seek their third consecutive win.

Bucknell (3-5-5, 1-0-3 PL) enters the weekend on a five-game unbeaten streak. However, the Bison are just 1-3-2 at Emmitt Field in 2025.

Saturday's contest airs on ESPN+ at the top of the hour. Bucknell Athletics will provide live statistics while the Patriot League supplies an international stream.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU recently picked up a 5-0 victory over Lafayette on Oct. 4 at Nickerson Field.
After leading 1-0 during halftime, the Terriers scored four goals in the second half for their second straight victory.
Senior Mackenzie Stickelman notched her first collegiate brace with two goals.
Sophomores Olivia Avellar, Alli Powderly and Juliana Osterman also tallied scores to back classmate Bridget Carr's three-save shutout.
Senior Giulianna Gianino was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week on Monday (Oct. 6) after posting four points in the wins over the Leopards and Army West Point.
The Terriers are tied with Colgate atop the Patriot League table with seven points. Only two points separate the top eight teams.
Stickelman is tied for second in the conference with three goals during Patriot League play. Gianino ranks in the top three in shots and shots on goal per game in that span as well.
Gianino is the first Terrier to reach six assists in one season since former teammate Jenna Oldham back in 2022.
BU's senior classes has racked up 32 of BU's 59 points this year, while the sophomore class has 13.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL

The Bison have recorded three consecutive draws since Sept. 27, tying Holy Cross, Lafayette and Loyola Maryland.
Bucknell has scored just five goals in its last seven matches.
Henna Andican and Katie Connell have posted 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Bucknell goalkeepers have combined for a 1.15 goals-against average and a .766 save percentage.
The Bison were projected to finish third in the Patriot League preseason poll after sporting a 12-4-3 record last year, going 7-2 against conference foes.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday marks the 19th all-time meeting between BU and Bucknell in a series that began in 2013.
The Bison have an 8-6-4 edge in the rivalry.
BU's lone win in Lewisburg, Pa. came on Nov. 1, 2014.
Osterman potted the lone goal to back up Carr's three-save shutout for a 1-0 Terrier win in the regular season matchup on Oct. 20, 2024.
Meeting again in the Patriot League title game at Bucknell, Sydney Hess scored for the Bison in the 67th minute before Morgan Weaver buried her first collegiate goal with 4:27 left in regulation.
BU went on to capture the championship after triumphing in penalty kicks, 8-7.

BU starts a two-game homestand on Wednesday (Oct. 15), hosting Holy Cross for a Turnpike Trophy clash on Women in Sports Night. Opening kick is slated for 6 p.m.
