BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Freshman Guy Margalit was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.

The Kohav Yair, Israel native competed in the triple jump at the Harvard Crimson Elite on Friday, jumping 14.82 meters. His mark is sixth all-time at BU and ranks third in the league this season. His marks have improved in each week he's jumped this season, going from 14.50m to 14.67m to now 14.82m.

Margalit and the Terriers will return to action Friday, Feb. 14 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
