BOSTON – A two-game road stretch for the Boston University women's basketball program begins at Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 15. Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.
BU (8-15, 2-10 PL) plays outside of Massachusetts for the first time since Jan. 25 and second time since Jan. 15. The Terriers are tied with Loyola Maryland for eighth place in the Patriot League standings and two games behind seventh-place Lafayette.
Colgate (18-7, 8-4 PL) is hosting consecutive games for the first time since Jan. 25-29. The Raiders, who are locked into a tie with Holy Cross and Bucknell for third, have won four of their last five games on Cotterell Court.
Saturday's game airs on ESPN+, beginning at the top of the hour. Colgate Athletics will provide live statistics while the Patriot League supplies an international stream.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers sustained a 67-63 loss to Bucknell on Feb. 12 at Case Gym.
- BU brought what was once a 13-point, third quarter deficit down to one possession in the final minutes, but could not tie the game as the Bison shot 52 percent from the field.
- Sophomore Aoibhe Gormley scored all of her season-high 16 points in the second half, making all eight of her free throws.
- Junior Anete Adler scored 13 points off the bench, while sophomore Alex Giannaros and freshman Allison Schwertner tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively.
- Wednesday marked the first time in Patriot League play this year that BU had four Terriers score in double figures.
- With 1,275 career points, Giannaros is two points away from matching former teammate Caitlin Weimar '24 for 11th place on BU's all-time scoring list and is four points away from Alex Young '12 in 10th place.
- Giannaros needs two three-pointers to enter 10th place in Patriot League history in career triples and five to match Young for third in the BU record books.
- Nine of BU's 12 Patriot League games have been decided by 12 or fewer points and five by single digits.
- Adler, Gormley and sophomores Inés Monteagudo Pardo and Bella McLaughlin have all boosted their scoring average from the previous season. McLaughlin has the largest jump at +6.4 points per game.

- The Raiders have won three in a row and four of their last five games, most recently defeating Holy Cross, 73-51, on Feb. 12.
- Colgate ranks top-three in Patriot League play in both scoring offense (second - 64.3 points per game) and defense (third - 55.4 points allowed per game).
- Taylor Golembiewski leads the Raiders with 13.1 points per game, and is the Patriot League's active career scoring leader as well.
- During conference action, Anne Bair and Morgan McMahon score 11.1 and 10.8 points per game, respectively.
- Colgate's 10 wins at home in 2024-25 are the second-most for a Patriot League team.

- Saturday marks the 32nd all-time meeting between BU and Colgate in a series that began in 1989.
