LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore diver
Zein Mahana made his first-ever Patriot League A final appearance on Thursday, placing seventh on the 1-meter to collect 23 points for the men's swimming & diving team on the second day of the league meet at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium. BU moved up a spot to fifth place in the 10-team field.
The Terriers sent three underclassmen to the evening finals in the 500-yard freestyle as freshman
Charles Schreiner led the way with a sixth-place finish (14th overall) in the B final in a time of 4:27.60 after classmate
Giovanni Sullo finished 20th and 23rd overall, respectively, with times of 4:30.90 and 4:32.66 in the C final. Farber's time was the best of his career.
Sophomore
Evan Liu finished 20th overall in the 200-yard individual medley with a season-best time of 1:50.37, good for fourth in the C final.
In the 50-yard freestyle, sophomore
David Kohan swam his fastest time as a Terrier, going down in back in 20.75 to place seventh (23rd overall) in the C final.
The night ended with the 400-yard medley relay as Farber, senior
