BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team will head to Army West Point for the Terriers' Patriot League opener at Michie Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 8. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Black Knights are not ranked in the most recent IL Women poll and are receiving votes in the latest IWLCA poll.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Terriers scored a season-high 17 goals against Merrimack on Wednesday, Feb. 26, taking home a 17-6 win over the Warriors.
  • Junior Jayne Feeney posted a four-goal game, tying her career high in goals, and the Terriers had hat tricks from Izabella Amonte and Tessa Geddes.
  • Geddes is now up to seven goals in her last two contests and her five draw controls brought her to 103 career DC.

  • Sophomore Tessa Geddes has earned back-to-back Patriot League honorable mentions for her performances.
  • She has scored seven goals in her past two contests.
  • Sophomore Izabella Amonte has scored 13 goals this season and has 17 points, leading the team
  • In net, sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa has been stuffing the stat sheet, leading the Patriot League in save percentage (.522).
  • She is second in saves per game (9.83) and third in goals allowed average (9.13).
  • Freshman Kaitlyn Barton has been a force on the draw this season, grabbing 38 this year. She is fifth in the PL in draw controls per game (6.33).
SCOUTING THE BLACK KNIGHTS
  • The Black Knights look to be a force in the Patriot League for another year after going 4-1 in their initial non-conference slate.
  • Army has gotten most of its scoring from Preseason All-Patriot League midfielder Brigid Duffy, who has potted 22 goals this year and has seven assists to go along with 27 draw controls.
  • Lindsey Serafine has been strong in net with a 7.63 GAA and a .471 save percentage through five games.e.
THE SERIES
  • BU is 3-5 against the Black Knights all-time and 2-1 on the road.
  • The Terriers fell 17-7 to the Black Knights at home last year, marking a fifth straight loss to Army.
