Women’s Soccer Welcomes Fairfield to Boston on Thursday

BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer program wraps up its two-game homestand on Thursday (Aug. 21) when it hosts Fairfield at Nickerson Field. Opening kick is set for 6 p.m.
BU (1-0) looks to start its campaign 2-0 for the first time since the 2014 season. The Terriers won their season opener on Sunday (Aug. 17) against America East preseason favorite New Hampshire, 3-0.
Fairfield (1-1) seeks a return to the win column after a 2-0 setback to Rutgers. The Stags will play their second Patriot League foe in the last three games after opening the year against Holy Cross.
