2006-07 HIGHLIGHTS
Appeared in five contests -- all coming in 2006 -- including four Hockey East games... Made transition back to defense in second half and projects to stay there as a senior.
2005-06 HIGHLIGHTS
Played in 11 contests, all in the first half of the season. After seeing action in 11 of the first 13 games of the year, was a healthy scratch out of the lineup for the remainder of the season (except Jan. 27-28, when he had an illness).
2004-05 HIGHLIGHTS
Played in 34-of-41 games and recorded nine points (5-4)... Tied for sixth on the team with a +4. Second on the team in shot percentage (.185)... After not playing in the first six games, he saw his first action vs. Merrimack on Nov. 12. Responded with his first collegiate goal, and he was out of the lineup just once after that. He did not play against UMass Lowell on Nov. 19, but that was the only game he did not dress for the rest of the season... His other goals were vs. Colorado College on Nov. 27, Boston College on Jan. 14 and Merrimack on Jan. 27... Had only career multiple-point game vs. Merrimack on Jan. 27... Played in all four Hockey East Tournament games and had a goal in 4-1 loss to Providence on March 11... Saw action in the NCAA regional vs. North Dakota on March 25... Named to Hockey East Honor Roll on Jan. 29.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Graduated from Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon School where he played both forward and defense...Spent his final two seasons there and had a combined total of 35 points (16-19). As a junior during the 2002-03 season, he had 20 points (8-12), while he came back with 15 points (8-7) the next year...Was twice elected team captain and was a two-time Hockey Night In Boston All-Scholastic pick...His senior year, he was an HNIB All-Scholastic champion...Began his high school career at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill., where he was named captain in 2001 and 2002 and was a Metro North All-Star selection in 2002...Also ran cross country at New Trier during the 1999-2000 season and was an all-conference selection...At Northfield, he was a student leader in 2003 and 2004 and attended the National Youth Leadership Council in 2002.
