Appeared in four contests, including two starts, with an undefeated record of 2-0-1... Boasted a .956 save percentage to go along with a 1.00 goals against average... Recorded second career shutout with 21 saves in 3-0 victory over Dartmouth in consolation game of Ledyard National Bank Classic on Dec. 30... Made 23 saves in 2-1 overtime victory vs. Yale on Nov. 25... Stopped all 12 shots he faced -- including penalty shot with 16 seconds left in regulation -- in final 39:11 of 3-3 draw at UMass on Jan. 27... Was in goal for final period of Hockey East semifinal vs. BC, making nine saves on 11 shots... Two-time Hockey East Honor Roll selection (11/27, 1/2).
2005-06 HIGHLIGHTS
Started four games, holding a 2-1-0 record with one shutout, a 2.45 GAA and .922 save percentage... First game was a 1-0 shutout of reigning back-to-back national champion Denver on Nov. 25, in which he made 31 saves... Second start came at Dartmouth on Dec. 10, when he came just 2:27 shy of another shutout, but settled for the 5-1 win with 40 saves... Caught his first loss of the season versus Providence on Jan. 6 with 27 saves, then lasted through two periods at Merrimack on Jan. 20 (three goals) before being pulled in favor of John Curry... Named to the Hockey East Honor Roll on Dec. 12, while earning Defensive Player of the Week Honors on Nov. 28.
2004-05 HIGHLIGHTS
Appeared in three games and had a 0-1-0 record along with a .741 save percentage and an 8.52 goals-against average... Saw first action against then top-ranked Michigan on Oct. 9... Played the first 29:17, had 12 saves, allowed seven goals and was charged with the 7-2 loss... Other action was vs. Colorado College on Nov. 27... Played the third period and stopped all eight shots he faced... Dressed for all four Hockey East Tournament games but did not see any action.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Graduated from Mankota (Sask.) Central High School in 2001... Played Midget AAA for Moose Jaw and then, after graduating from high school, played one year of Junior A for the Neepawa Native in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and two years for the Bonnyville Pontiacs in the Alberta Junior Hockey League... During the 2000-01 season at Moose Jaw, he was named the playoff MVP... The following year, at Neepawa, he compiled a 2.71 GAA and a .917 save percentage in 33 games and was named team Rookie of the Year. In addition, he was a First Team Rookie All-Star and finished runner-up in the balloting for the MJHL Rookie of the Year... During the 2002-03 season, he moved to Bonnyville in the AJHL and was selected team MVP and Second Team League All-Star with a 3.30 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 49 games... He capped off his Junior A career with Bonnyville during the 2003-04 season with a 2.72 GAA and a .917 save percentage in 48 games. He was named League All-Star, AJHL North All-Star, playoff MVP and 'Source For Sports Player of the Game' Award as the player with the highest point total based on the star-of-the-game selection... Also played baseball at Mankota.
