Ran his best 5000m of the year at the Ken O’Brien Pre-Conference Meet, finishing in 15:00.97 (April 25) … At the Bison Outdoor Classic, finished with a 9:45.63 time in the 3000m steeplechase (April 13) … Ran the 3000m at the Patriot League Indoor Championships (March 1) … His PB of 8:31.33 in the 3000m came at the Valentine Invitational (Feb. 14) … Opened his freshman year with an 8:39.72 3000m performance at the Battle in Beantown (Jan. 18).

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
As a senior, was the runner-up at the Cross Country state meet in Colorado … Was a league champion … Finished sixth at his track state meet … Received the High School Recognition award from the Colorado Running Hall of Fame … As a junior, finished fourth at the Cross Country state meet … Picked up a third place and sixth place finish at the track state meet … Was a state qualifier his sophomore year … Also played baseball, basketball and soccer.
