BOSTON - Highlighted by a nine-game package from CN8 - The Comcast Network, the Boston University men's ice hockey team has announced its 2007-08 television schedule. Nearly half of the Terriers' regular-season games will be broadcast live this year, beginning with both of the team's contests this weekend at Michigan.

Up to 17 BU games have been picked up by television stations, as the New England Sports Network (NESN) will broadcast three games from Agganis Arena as part of their Hockey East package in addition to first round and championship of the Beanpot. College Sports Television (CSTV) kicks off the BU television schedule on Friday (Oct. 26) when the Terriers visit Ann Arbor to take on Michigan. CN8 begins its coverage of the Terriers the following night in the finale of the two-game set versus the Wolverines.

CSTV will also broadcast the Terriers' match-up with Cornell at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Nov. 24. Another national broadcast will take place on Sunday, Dec. 30, when ESPNU visits Agganis Arena to cover the Terriers' contest with Merrimack.

In addition to Michigan, CN8 will also broadcast three other road games, including Vermont (Nov. 16), Maine (Jan. 12) and Massachusetts (March 1). The remaining five games in the package will all take place at Agganis Arena, beginning with Harvard on Nov. 20. The other four are Boston College (Dec. 1), Dartmouth (Dec. 13), Vermont (Jan. 5) and Maine (Feb. 16).

For the third straight year, BU will provide a live video webcast of selected games through BU All-Access on goterriers.com, allowing fans to view the action live or as part of a video archive. This year's package, which began with the home opener against New Hampshire, will include 12 games for a cost of only $19.95. Ten of the games, which include some of CN8's broadcasts for those outside of the station's viewing area, will be home contests, while the other two will be CSTV's broadcasts against Michigan and Cornell.

The cost of the package also includes all three Terrier basketball games scheduled to take place at Agganis Arena (Men - St. Joseph's, Vermont; Women - Ohio State).

Non-subscribers to BU All-Access can view the Michigan and Cornell games online for a pay-per-view price of $7.95 at cstvppv.com.
