After leading the Boston University men's hockey team to the title at the Wells Fargo Denver Cup, senior co-captain Matt Gilroy has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week. Gilroy was named MVP of the tournament, which saw the Terriers post wins over No. 5 Denver and Rensselaer.

Gilroy scored the eventual game-winning goal in the Terriers' 4-1 victory over No. 5 Denver in the tournament's title game on Saturday. He also bolstered a defense that allowed just three goals over the two games and was part of a penalty-kill unit that was a perfect 10-for-10 in the tournament.

Four Terriers were named to the All-Tournament Team, as Gilroy was joined by classmate Jason Lawrence and freshmen David Warsofsky and Kieran Millan.
