PRINCETON, N.J. - Highlighted by three boats placing fourth in their respective races, the Boston University men's crew had a successful outing at the Princeton Chase on Sunday afternoon. The Terriers had two top-10 finishes in the varsity eights to start the event and then had four top-20 finishes in the coxed four race before taking fourth in the freshman eights.
Other teams participating included Princeton, Syracuse, Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, Navy, MIT, Holy Cross, George Washington and Penn.
Coxed by Bianca Wieczorek and stroked by Meindert Klem, the varsity eight boat posted a time of 13:26.967, finishing three seconds behind Columbia and eight behind winner Princeton.
The Terriers will have a month off before returning to the Charles River for the Foot of the Charles on Nov. 21.
