After leading the Terriers to the title at the Hockey East Championship with a 32-save shutout performance, freshman goaltender Kieran Millan has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week. He stopped 53 of the 55 shots he faced on the weekend, as BU blanked the River Hawks, 1-0, in Saturday's title game after posting a 3-2 comeback victory over Boston College on Friday.

Millan, who was named the tournament MVP, tied the school record for goaltender wins in a season with 25, matching the mark established by Jack Ferriera in 1964-65 and matched by Cleon Daskalakis in 1983-84.

His 32-save effort was one shy of his career high of 33, which came in the title game of this year's Denver. Millan will enter his first NCAA tournament with a goals against average of 1.84 and a .923 save percentage.
