After scoring five points, including the first two goals of her career, and helping the Terrier defense earn a pair of shutouts, freshman Jacinda McLeod has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
McLeod opened the scoring in a 7-0 rout of Sacred Heart on Saturday with her first career goal - the eventual game winner. She later assisted on Nikki Lloyd's team-leading fifth goal of the season and also scored the final goal of the contest to finish with five points on the day.
In the Terriers' 1-0 road win over Dartmouth on Sunday, McLeod helped to set up the game's lone goal, as her shot from the top of the circle off a corner was saved but the rebound was sent home by sophomore Giovanna Monaco to lead BU to the win.
McLeod currently ranks third on the Terriers in scoring with has seven points (2g, 3a) and is second in shots with 23.
