BOSTON - Following three impressive performances, including a career-high 28 points vs. No. 24 Vermont, freshman Chantell Alford has earned GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors.

Against Vermont, Alford finished with a game-high 28 points - her 13th straight double-digit performance - on 9-for-14 shooting with five treys. Alford is the three-time defending America East Rookie of the Week.

Against Stony Brook on Jan. 13., Alford sunk nine field goals while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor. She also dished out five assists and swiped four steals. She capped off the week with a 13-point, nine-rebound, five-assist performance at home against Albany. She also added two steals in the game. The rookie is second in America East with 15.5 ppg, first with 2.8 spg and 10th with 2.6 apg.
