After leading the Boston University men's soccer team to a pair of 1-0 shutout victories with a combined 11 saves, freshman Nick Thomson has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Thomson posted a season-high seven saves to hand Vermont its fourth shutout loss of the season last Wednesday on the road. He then returned to Nickerson Field on Saturday to record four saves in a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over Stony Brook.

With five shutouts this season, he currently ranks first in the conference in goals against average at 0.74 and third in save percentage at .812.
