After leading the Terriers to come-from-behind road wins over New Hampshire and Maine, senior goaltender Kieran Millan has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
The netminder stopped 58 of the 60 shots he faced over the two contests, allowing just one goal each night. He recorded 28 saves in a 2-1 win over the Wildcats on Thursday before following that up with a 30-save effort on Saturday versus the Black Bears.
Late in Saturday's game, Millan broke BU's record for career saves and now has 3,057 over his four years with the Terriers to eclipse the previous mark of 3,055 held by Sean Fields '04.
For the season, Millan has an 8-5-1 record and a .917 save percentage to go along with a 2.68 goals-against average.
