BOSTON - The Boston University women's soccer team announces the Terrier Training Soccer Camp program dates for 2011. All Terrier Training camps give female youth soccer players the opportunity to receive hands-on training from head coach Nancy Feldman and her coaching staff.
The day camp, hosted at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, is open to campers grades 4-10.
The day camp, is designed to help players work on their technical abilities and learn to play the game through a series of interactive and fun activities. The camp, which runs from July 5-8, will focus on making players more adept at technical skills while providing a fun learning environment.
"The day camps provide a great atmosphere for young girls to develop their love for the game of soccer," Feldman said.
Terrier Training overnight camp, which is held at Boston University runs from Tuesday, July 19 until Saturday, July 23 and is open to high school age players. The overnight camp is designed with competitive players in mind and is focused on the female high school player that is serious about improving both their technical abilities and their understanding of the game.
This camp will feature positional training combined with tactical ideas, nutrition, speed and agility exercises, nutrition and sports psychology programming for high school soccer preparation and college bound student-athletes.
"The overnight camp is a great way for players to start to understand what a college level training environment looks and feels like," Feldman continued. "Our sessions cover both the technical and tactical aspect of the game."
