Men's Hockey Announces TV/Radio/Streaming Schedules

BOSTON - The Boston University men's ice hockey program has announced its television schedule for the 2013-14 season, as the Terriers will appear on NBC Sports Network four times in addition to at least five games on NESN. The BU athletic department will stream no fewer than 13 regular-season home contests on Terrier TV while radio broadcasts for all games will remain on AM 1510.

NBCSN will televise the Terriers' first game against North Dakota on Nov. 22 at Agganis Arena in addition to road contests at Massachusetts (Jan. 31), New Hampshire (Feb. 14) and Notre Dame (Feb. 21).

BU will partner with NESN on Nov. 23 to broadcast the second North Dakota contest. As part of the annual Hockey East package, the Terriers will appear on NESN three other times, beginning with their Frozen Fenway tilt against Maine on Jan. 11. The other two are BU's visit to archrival Boston College on Jan. 17 and the home game against Vermont on Jan. 25. Other games may be picked up during the final weeks of the season as part of the Hockey East flex schedule

NESN will once again televise The Beanpot, which features an opening-round match-up between BU and BC on Feb. 3. The championship game of the 62nd Beanpoe will be televised on Feb. 10.

Two Hockey East road games will be produced by opponents and their regional stations. The Nov. 15 game at Maine will be broadcast locally in Orono and picked up by Fox College Sports (FCS) nationally while the Jan. 18 contest at UMass Lowell will be on WBIN.

In addition, BU's second game at Notre Dame on Feb. 22 will be streamed live through NBC Sports Live Extra.

At least 13 regular-season home contests will be streamed live on Terrier TV through GoTerriers.com. The Agganis Arena production includes synced audio from the BU radio broadcast team of Bernie Corbett and Tom Ryan. Fans can subscribe to Terrier TV for $9.95 per month or $49.95 for the season and it also includes access to live streaming for all women's hockey home contests.

BU has contnued its radio partnership with NBC/Yahoo Sports Radio AM 1510. Corbett returns for his 29th season as the "Voice of the Terriers" and will once again be joined in the booth by Ryan, who co-captained the 1987-88 squad along with new head coach David Quinn. Corbett also hosts Inside BU Hockey, a weekly podcast featuring interviews with Quinn and current and former players.
