BLACKSBURG, Va. – A trio of Boston University divers competed at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships held Friday through Sunday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Blacksburg, Va.

Senior Melinda Matyas competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the Zone Championship for the fourth straight season. Matyas finished 21st on the 1-meter board with 223.35 points and 22nd on the 3-meter board with a score of 243.65.

Junior Chelsea Glincman also represented the BU women with a total of 210.40 points on the 1-meter board to finish 34th and a score of 201.75 to finish 35th on the 3-meter board.

On the men’s side, junior Jared Scheck made his second straight Zone Championship appearance with a total of 246.40 points for 31st place on the 3-meter board and 208.95 points to finish in 41st on the 1-meter board.
