WAKEFIELD, Mass. - After having a hand in both of the Terriers' goals in the Hockey East First Round game at Notre Dame, freshman Robbie Baillargeon of the Boston University men's ice hockey team has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

With the Terriers trailing by a score of 2-0, Baillargeon set up a goal by junior Evan Rodrigues late in the second period.

The freshman scored his 10th goal of the season with 5:38 left in the regulation to make it a 3-2 Irish lead.

With his two-point performance, Baillargeon finished the season with a team-high 27 points (10g, 17a) to become the second consecutive freshman to lead the squad in scoring. Danny O'Regan did so as a rookie last year.

This was the first weekly Hockey East honor of Baillargeon's career.
