Baillargeon Named to Hockey East All-Rookie Team

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Freshman Robbie Baillargeon of the Boston University men's ice hockey team was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Baillargeon became the second freshman in as many seasons to lead BU in scoring. He tallied 10 goals and added 17 assists for a team-best 27 points, which ranked fourth among league rookies. Current sophomore Danny O'Regan led the Terriers with 38 points during the 2012-13 campaign.

The Enfield, Conn., native tied for the team lead in both goals and assists and finished tied for third among Hockey East freshmen in assists. Twenty of his 27 points came against teams ranked in the top 20 of this week's USCHO.com national poll, including 11 (4g, 7a) against top-10 opponents.
