TODAY'S GAME
The Boston University women's basketball begins its second half of the Patriot League Schedule on Saturday when the Terriers host Lehigh for a 2 p.m. tilt in Case Gym.
THE TERRIERS
BU is on a four-game skid and looks to break it against the Mountain Hawks. The Terriers found their first Patriot League victory against Colgate but have been unable to capture another win since, dropping games to Loyola Maryland, American, Bucknell and Army.
Meghan Green leads the team in points (12.9 ppg) and rebounds (7.4 rpg), bolstered by seven double-digit performances in the last nine games.
Sarah Hope, the only Terrier to start every contest this season and the team's second leading scorer (10.3 ppg), was injured in the first three minutes of BU's game against Loyola and will be unavailable for the remainder of the season.
One area the Terriers excel is in rebounding. BU is averaging 39.2 boards per game, the third-best in the conference, including 28.5 defensive rebounds, one fewer than Bucknell, who leads the Patriot League in the category.
THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS
Lehigh is currently tied for second in the Patriot League with Army. The Mountain Hawks have a 14-5 overall record including a 6-3 mark in conference. Their PL losses were to Loyola Maryland, Navy and top-ranked American, in which they dropped a 75-73 overtime decision.
Lehigh is outscoring its opponents 71.8-64.8 and outrebounding them 42.4-34.6. The Mountain Hawks lead the conference in scoring and are one-tenth of a rebound behind league-leading Bucknell. They are second in field goal percentage (.442) and in 3-point field goal percentage (.330).
Lexi Martins leads Lehigh in points and rebounds per game, averaging 15.6 and 11.4 per game, respectively. She is the only player in the conference who is currently averaging a double-double. Kerry Kinek and Katie O'Reilly are the only other two Mountain Hawks to average double-figure scoring, notching 12.2 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. Kinek is also an impressive rebounder, grabbing 8.1 per contest.
THE SERIES
The all-time series with the Mountain Hawks is led by BU, 4-2. Earlier this month BU's trip to Lehigh ended in an 85-64 loss for the Terriers. The Mountain Hawks' two wins have come in the last two games of the series.
GAME COVERAGE
Thursday's game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network and is free for all to view. Fans can also listen live on Terrier Sports Radio Network with John-Michael Sedor on the call or follow along on twitter with live updates on @BUGameDay.

LAST TIME OUT
BU had a tough time against Army on Wednesday night, suffering a 65-40 loss to the Black Knights. Mollie McKendrick was the only Terrier to reach double-figure scoring, tallying 10 points, all in the second half.
Boston U. was able to hold the best shooting team in the conference, which averages 44 percent from the field, to under 40 percent overall. The Terriers were unable to stifle two-time Patriot League Player of the Year Kelsey Minato, however, who totaled 30 points and went 8-for-10 from the 3-point line.
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Mollie McKendrick was a late arrival to the basketball scene, starting to play the sport competitively at 16 years old. The Mildura, Australia native was not foreign to sport, however, and competed semi-professionally in the Australian tennis circuit. McKendrick earned a bid to the Australian Junior National Tournament at the age of 12 but soon decided basketball was her calling and decided to try out for a local club team.
From there her basketball career took off, earning spots on the Australian Junior and Senior Teams before finding her way to Boston to play college ball.
THE GREEN LIGHT
Meghan Green has been on a roll in the past few contests, recording double-digit scoring in seven of the last nine games. The sophomore has tallied two double-doubles in conference play, scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 rebounds against Navy before recording 14 points and boards against Colgate. Green averages 18.3 points and 14 rebounds in her three double-doubles this season.
Green also leads the team in points and rebounds, averaging 12.9 ppg and 7.4 rpg.
HOPES DASHED
Sarah Hope, BU's starting shooting guard, stepped up big against Colgate to help the Terriers earn their first win in 10 tries. The sophomore scored a career-high 22 points that came from a personal-best eight field goals, six from long range. Hope also matched her career best rebounding total, grabbing seven boards against the Raiders.
The next outing, however, would be devastating to the sophomore guard as she left the game against Loyola Maryland with an injury less than three minutes into the contest. Hope will not return for the remainder of the season.
Hope had been stepping her game up since the start of conference play, averaging 12 ppg in Patriot League contests compared to 9.5 ppg in non-conference affairs. She was also contributing 0.5 more rebounds per game, 0.2 more assists per game and 0.4 more steals per game.
The sophomore is the only Terrier to have started in all of the first 17 contests this year and averaged 10.3 ppg. She also contributed 3.6 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game and 0.6 steals per game.
MELTON BOUNCES BACK
After not seeing any minutes against Lafayette, Troi Melton worked hard all week to earn back playing time against Colgate. The redshirt-junior did not disappoint, scoring eight points on 4-of-5 shooting. Melton focused on taking and making the smart shots and her steady performance helped the Terriers to a 58-53 victory over the Raiders.
She continued her consistent performance against Loyola Maryland on Saturday, stepping into a distributer role in the absence of Hope and Latham. Melton scored eight points and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds while dishing out three assists. She also played the most minutes of her career, spending 32 minutes on the court against the Greyhounds.
Melton continued to perform against American, matching her career-high 11 points and contributing six rebounds and two steals. The redshirt junior played a career-high and team-leading 39 minutes and committed zero turnovers.
Not to disappoint, Melton went on to score a career-high 16 points in the next outing against Bucknell.
SOPHOMORE STANDOUTS
This year's sophomore class has taken the reigns of a young Terrier team as Meghan Green and Sarah Hope are among the squad's leading scorers. Green is BU's top scorer, averaging 12.9 points per contest while Hope was close behind with 10.3 points per game before she was injured against Loyola.
Hope led the team in assists (3.1/game) while classmate Courtney Latham, BU's starting point guard, is the active assist leader, with 2.9 per game.
Green is also the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.4 per game.
