WAKEFIELD, Mass. - After scoring four goals in the Terriers' weekend series with New Hampshire, senior Danny O'Regan of the Boston University men's ice hockey team has been named the Hockey East Warrior Hockey Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday.

O'Regan scored all of BU's goals in a 3-3 draw at New Hampshire on Friday, recording the second hat trick of his career. On Saturday, the senior added another goal to help the Terriers secure a 3-2 victory on Senior Night at Agganis Arena. He totaled 15 shots and a plus-2 rating over the two games.

The Needham, Mass., native leads all active Division I players in career points with 146 on 63 goals and 83 assists. He has a team-best 36 points (14g, 22a) heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

This is the third time in O'Regan's career that he has earned Player of the Week honors from Hockey East.
