GOAL-BY-GOAL
- BC opened the scoring just 1:17 into the proceedings when Makenna Newkirk skated up the right wing and got a shot past senior goaltender Victoria Hanson.
- With the Terriers on a power play, Rodgers got BU on the board at the 7:34 mark of the second stanza. Senior Sarah Steele sent a shot from the right point towards goal, where it was redirected by sophomore Sammy Davis. Eagle netminder Katie Burt (25 saves) made the save on Davis' bid, but the rebound came right to Rodgers and she made no mistake for her ninth goal of the season.
- Just over two minutes later, the Terriers capitalized on another power play. Junior Victoria Bach's shot from the right faceoff circle was redirected by graduate student Mary Parker and stopped by Burt. With a scrum in the crease, Elia was able to find the loose puck and quickly send it past Burt for her eighth goal of the year.
- BC got a power-play goal of its own with 12:11 remaining in regulation to tie the game, 2-2, and then scored with 2:48 to play to take a 3-2 lead.
- The Terriers pulled Hanson for an extra attacker with just over a minute to play but were unable to get an equalizer.
