The crosstown rivals will meet for the 40th time on Sunday. In the previous 39 meetings, the teams are an even 18-18-3.

For Miliary Appreciation Day, fans who write a letter to a U.S. Special Operations soldier in Fort Bragg will receive a Beat BC t-shirt while supplies last. Additionally, there will be free pizza and a kid-friendly Rhett's Scavenger Hunt where fans can redeem a bone they find in the stands for a prize.

The Terriers are undefeated in Patriot League play (4-0) while the Eagles are winless (0-5) in the ACC, the toughest conference in the nation. BC, however, is a perfect 10-0 in non-conference play, including 2-1 wins over Harvard and Northeastern in their two most recent games.

BC has as balanced an offense as there is in the nation with three players tied for the points lead at 11, three others with nine and three more with eight. Freshman Fusine Govaert (5g, 1a) and seniors Brooke Matherson (5g, 1a) and Alesandra Miller (2g, 7a) are atop the scoresheet.

Sophomore Sarah Dwyer has played every minute in goal for the Eagles and has a 1.67 goals-against average and a .692 save percentage.

The BU offense has come alive this week, scoring 14 goals while allowing only two. The Terrier defense has allowed just one goal in six of its past seven contests.

The Terriers are coming off an 8-1 road win over Holy Cross on Friday in the annual Turnpike Trophy game. Senior Kali Shumock tallied a goal and an assist and was named the game's Turnpike Trophy MVP. Junior Ally Hammel and freshman Miya Denison scored two goals apiece.

BU now has six players with double-digit points on the season and that group is led by freshman Ailsa Connolly, who has 18 points on nine goals. The New Zealand native's nine goals have come on just 16 shots. Shumock is enjoying the best stretch of her career, having tallied 12 points (3g, 6a) during her current five-game point streak. Her eight assists this season are tied for first among Patriot League players.

Freshman Millie Baker and junior Kathleen Keegan continue to post good goalkeeping numbers for the Terriers, combining for a 1.86 goal-against average and a .634 save percentage.
