BOSTON – Riding a three-game unbeaten streak, the Boston University men's soccer team will continue a three-game road trip at Brown on Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. start time for the ESPN3 broadcast.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • Saturday's 2-0 victory at American snapped a four-game road losing streak for the Terriers and marked BU's first multi-goal performance this season.
  • BU is 1-0-1 against the Ivy League following a 1-0 home win over Harvard and 1-1 come-from-behind draw against Princeton at Nickerson Field.
  • Four different individuals have tallied a goal this year – senior Adam Sheikali, senior Eric Mubang, junior Nicki Wieners and sophomore Matt McDonnell.
  • Sheikali also owns an assist to lead BU with three points, while sophomore Satchel Cortet owns a team-high two assists with both helpers setting up game-winning goals.
  • The Terriers have twice as many corners as opponents, 33-16, but are facing a 0.3 deficit in shots per game (10.4-10.1).
  • Sophomore Michael Bernardi posted a season-high six saves at American and owns a 0.714 save percentage and 2.20 goals against average ... Freshman William Bonnelyche played all 110 minutes against Princeton last Tuesday and currently has a 0.667 save percentage with a 1.34 GAA.
SCOUTING BROWN
  • The Bears (4-1-1) started the season with four straight wins against Bryant, Quinnipiac, Holy Cross and Tulsa by a combined score of 7-2 before falling, 1-0, at SMU and posting a 0-0 draw at home against Rhode Island.
  • Brown is 2-0-1 overall at home with the wins against Quinnipiac (2-0) and Patriot League member Holy Cross (2-1 OT) after going 5-3-1 last season.
  • One of six Bears to find the back of the net, Toby Howell leads Brown with five points off two goals and an assist.
  • Quinn English and Nico Lozada are tied at four points apiece with a goal and two assists.
  • Despite being tied in shot attempts with opponents at 67 apiece, Brown has outscored opponents, 7-3.
  • Joey Cipicchio has played every second at net and owns three shutouts with an impressive 0.875 save percentage and 0.48 goals against average.
SERIES HISTORY
  • Brown leads the all-time series, 23-15-4, that dates back to 1969.
  • The Terriers snapped an eight-game winless streak (0-6-2) last season, as sophomore Jerry Ozor recorded an assist on both goals for the 2-0 victory ... The win marked BU's first since a 1-0 win at Brown in 2007 and the first at home since 2004 (2-0).
  • Two years ago at Brown, the Terriers finished with a 19-11 advantage in shots but still fell, 2-0, as Brown scored in the 12th and 65th minutes.
