The Terriers (10-6) reached the 10-win mark for the 15th consecutive season on Friday with a 2-1 victory over Holy Cross on Senior Night. BU has won three of its past four games and will host the 2018 Patriot League tournament next weekend thanks to a perfect 6-0 conference record.Â
BC (9-8) is on a three-game losing streak with all three games decided by a single goal. The Eagles most recently fell at No. 6 Harvard on Thursday by a score of 1-0. They will take on No. 20 Virginia in the ACC quarterfinals next Thursday (Nov. 1) in Chapel Hill, N.C. Â
This will be the 41st meeting between the crosstown rivals with the Eagles holding a narrow 19-18-3 advantage in the all-time series. The past four meetings have gone to overtime and the past seven were one-goal games.
Senior Frederique Haverhals leads BC in points (21) and goals (9) while graduate student Brooke Matherson is second in both categories with 17 points and six tallies. Three other Eagles have five goals apiece and junior Brigid Wood has a team-best eight assists.
Junior Sarah Dwyer and freshman Jonna Kennedy have shared time in goal for the Eagles and have combined for a 1.48 goals-against average and a .708 save percentage.
The Terrier offense has four players with 12 or more points with sophomore
