BOSTON - Hosting the 14th annual Terrier Invitaitonal, the Boston University men's swimming and diving team stands in third place after the opening day.

Trevor Winans highlighted the day by winning the 500 free with a time of 4:26.60. BU's 200 free relay team of Judson Balding, Adam Orringer-Hau, Jake Goroshko and Matt Traub also reached the podium with a third-place finish, ticking in at 1:23.10.

The second day of the Terrier Invitational will commence tomorrow at 10 a.m. with preliminary events, and follow with finals at 6 p.m.
