ORONO, Maine - Senior Victoria Bach notched a goal and an assist and senior captain Rebecca Leslie tallied two goals to help the Boston University women's ice hockey team earn a 4-1 win in game two of a Hockey East quarterfinal series at Maine on Saturday afternoon at Alfond Arena.
The Terriers' win forces a third and decisive game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bach opened the scoring 6:15 into the proceedings when she forced a Maine turnover in the offensive zone and backhanded the puck past Carly Jackson (17 saves).

- Freshman Jesse Compher then extended the lead to 3-0 with a shorthanded goal at the 10:55 mark of the middle period. She won a defensive-zone draw to redshirt sophomore Abbey Stanley, then collected the puck and went coast-to-coast for her ninth goal of the season.
