BOSTON - Still searching for its first road win of the season, the Boston University women's soccer team will look to get back on track as it visits Army West Point on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for 7 p.m. start.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers saw their 12-game unbeaten streak in conference games snapped as it fell 1-0 at Bucknell on Saturday.
- Prior to Saturday, BU had not lost a conference game since falling to the Bison in the 2017 Patriot League Tournament semifinals.
- BU is 5-0 in games following a regular season Patriot League loss.
- Elle Conlin, McKenna Kennedy and Anna Heilferty lead the Terriers in minutes, as each has started all 11 games and logged over 800 minutes apiece.
- Six of BU's nine freshmen have earned at least one start this season.
SCOUTING ARMY WEST POINT
- Navy scored in the 75th minute to hand Army a 1-0 defeat in its last outing on Saturday, dropping the Black Knights to 0-1-1 in Patriot League games and 3-4-3 overall.
- Freshman Alyssa Carfagno leads the squad with four goals while fellow rookie Elisa Urkov follows with three.
- Along with Lauren Drysdale, the first-year trio owns eight of the Black Knight's 10 goals.
- Sydney Cassalla has played every minute in net, limiting opponents to just 1.12 goals per game.
THE SERIES
- Shannon Keefe posted her first career brace to lead BU to a 3-0 shutout in last season's Patriot League Tournament semifinal matchup against the Black Knights.
- In its two contests against the Black Knights last season, BU held a combined 44-6 advantage in shots over 200 minutes of play.
- The Terriers are 3-0 in West Point and are 6-0-2 all-time against Army.
