BOSTON - The Boston University field hockey team kicks off its longest homestand of the season with a contest against crosstown rival and 17th-ranked Boston College on Sunday. Game time at New Balance Field is set for 1 p.m.

The Terriers (4-7) are coming off a 6-1 road victory at Colgate on Friday, ending a six-game losing streak. BU benefited from a balanced scoring attack with six Terriers finding the back of the cage in the win. Freshmen Jodie Conolly and Ellie McIntyre each recorded a goal and an assist while sophomores Rebecca Janes and Casey Thompson recorded their first goals of the season.

Sunday marks the start of three straight home games for the Terriers, as they will also host American and No. 7 Princeton next weekend.

The Eagles (7-5) earned a 1-0 home win over No. 13 Harvard thanks to a goal from Brigid Wood. BC is now 3-1 in road games, also picking up wins at Wake Forest and Virginia in ACC play.

Freshman Margo Carlin has been impressive as a rookie, leading the Eagles in points (25) and goals (11). Thursday's tilt versus Harvard marked just the second game all season in which Carlin did not tally a point.

Junior Fusine Govaert has added 18 points on six goals and six assists while six other Eagles have at least two tallies on the year.

Senior Sarah Dwyer and sophomore Jonna Kennedy have shared time in goal this season and have combined for a 1.83 goals-against average and a .672 save percentage.

For the Terriers, junior Ailsa Connolly has team highs in all scoring categories with six goals and four assists. Freshmen Jodie Conolly (4g, 3a) and Ellie McIntyre (4g, 1a) have contributed 11 and nine points, respectively.

Senior Livy Golini has started the past two games in goal and earned her first win as a Terrier on Friday.
