BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's rowing teams, along with several BU alumni, competed in Day 1 of the 55th Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday. The day was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the Men's Club 4 race and the sixth-place finish in the Women's Club 4 race.

Note:  BU' men's' Club 8 boat finished with the eighth-fastest time but was assessed a one minute penalty after a collision with another boat and was dropped to 25th place. BU appealed that decision and won the appeal and was restored to eighth overall.Â
