BOSTON - Looking to split its regular season series with Colgate, the Boston University women's basketball team will aim for its third straight road win on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Tip-off against the Raiders at Cotterell Court is slated for 7 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • BU is off to its best start ever as a member of the Patriot League through 11 games with a 7-4 record.
  • The Terriers have already passed their conference win total from last season.
  • The 2016-17 season was BU's best showing in Patriot League games, where it stood at 5-4 at the halfway mark before finishing with an 11-7 conference record.
  • After going winless on the road in non-conference games at 0-6, BU has gone 5-1 in road Patriot League games.
  • Three of those five wins have been decided by four points or less.
  • BU exploded out of the gates to an 18-5 lead after the first quarter at Lehigh and never looked back, earning its third straight road win with a 52-48 decision on Saturday.
  • Katie Nelson led the Terriers in scoring for the third time in the last four games, hitting on her first four 3-point attempts en route to a team-best 15 points.
  • Payton Hauck also reached double figures in scoring with 12 points, while Naiyah Thompson hauled down 10 rebounds over 26 minutes off the bench.

SCOUTING COLGATE

  • The Raiders are coming off back-to-back loses, most recently taking a 67-52 setback at Navy, to fall to 5-6 in Patriot League games and 9-12 overall.
  • Since escaping with an 81-72 win Jan. 16 at BU in the previous matchup, Colgate is 2-4 since upsetting the Terriers.
  • Colgate is one win away from posting its third 10-win season since the 2012-13 campaign.
  • Rachel Thompson is the top threat for the Raiders as she leads the team in points (12.5), rebounds (7.8), assists (3.0) and steals (2.5) per game.
  • Myiah Chandler ranks second in the Patriot League with a 53.3 percent shooting percentage and also second with a 58.3 percent mark in conference games.
  • Walpole native Summer King is averaging 9.2 points and 4.6 rebounds off the bench.
  • The Raiders have handed out double-digit assists in all but one game this season, and rank third in the league with 14.1 helpers per game.

THE SERIES

  • Colgate broke BU's three-game win streak in the series in the first matchup of the season Jan. 16, as the Raiders came back from a 17-point deficit in the third quarter to steal an 82-71 win.
  • The Raiders used a 44-18 run over the final 15:25 of play to flip the outcome of the game, handing BU its first defeat on its home court of the 2018-19 season.
  • Two of the last four games have been decided by a two-possession margin of victory.
