BOSTON - Looking for its third straight win, the Boston University women's basketball team will open up February against defending Patriot League champion Bucknell on Saturday at Case Gym. Opening tip against the Bison is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- For the second straight game BU was resilient until the end as it staved off Loyola, 41-39, Wednesday night at Reitz Arena to complete the season sweep of the Greyhounds.
- Riley Childs led the Terriers with 14 points and added in eight rebounds.
- Maren Durant led all players with 10 rebounds to go with eight points, while Maggie Pina also reached double-digit scoring figures with a 10-point night.
- Durant has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in each of the last four games, averaging 12.0 rebounds and 9.5 points per game during that stretch.
- Katie Nelson is tied for second in the Patriot League in 3-pointers per game (2.4) and ranks fifth in assists per game (3.6).
- Childs leads the team in rebounding (7.3), which is tied for seventh in the Patriot League, has upped her average to 7.8 rebounds per game in conference play.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL
- Bucknell owns the top record in the Patriot League at 8-1 overall and is coming off a 77-46 win in Lewisburg against Army West Point on Wednesday.

- Ellie Mack ranks third in the Patriot League in scoring average (14.8) and is tied for seventh in rebounding (7.3).
- Abby Kapp leads the league in 3-pointers (55) and 3-pointers per game (2.8).
- Kapp and Mack are the top threats from distance, as Kapp ranks second in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (44.3) and Mack ranks fourth (40.7).
- Marly Wells it the primary distributor, leading the team with 3.1 assists per game, and has a knack for causing turnovers as she also leads the team in steals with 1.5 per game.
- Trevor Woodruff is in his first season guiding the Bison after spending the previous four seasons at the University of Scranton, where he compiled a 113-10 record.
