BOSTON - Preparing to make a postseason push, the Boston University women's basketball team returns to Case Gym as it hosts Lehigh on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Opening tip is scheduled for 6 p.m. and can be seen live on NESN as well as the Patriot League Network.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU stands in third place in the Patriot League standings with a 10-5 record.
  • With a win on Wednesday, the Terriers would clinch a home quarterfinal game in the Patriot League Tournament.
  • Additionally, a win would mark the second straight season where BU has won 11 Patriot League games.
  • The Terriers will finish no lower than sixth in the league standings and will avoid playing in a first round game.
  • BU is coming off a heartbreaking 55-54 defeat at American on Saturday.
  • Maren Durant and Maggie Pina led the team with 11 points apiece, while Sydney Johnson handed out seven assists for the second time this season.
  • Katie Nelson is one assist away from reaching 300 career assists.
  • Nelson would be the 11th Terrier to reach the milestone and the first since Chantell Alford '13.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
  • Lehigh, the Patriot League preseason favorite, is currently in sixth place with an 8-7 conference record.
  • The Mountain Hawks dropped their second straight game Saturday at Bucknell, 67-56, to drop to 16-10 overall.
  • Camryn Buhr leads the team in points (12.7), rebounds (7.2) and assists (2.6) per game.
  • Emma Grothaus has two 20-point games over the last three contests, and follows Buhr with 10.1 points per game.
  • Cameryn Benz ranks second on the team in rebounding (6.6) and third in scoring (9.5).
  • Hannah Hedstrom is one of eight players in the Patriot League to average more than three assists per game (3.2).
THE SERIES
  • BU could not get into a rhythm as Lehigh took the first matchup in Bethlehem, 51-34, on Jan. 8 to even the series at 8-8.
  • Lehigh put in 12 of its 19 field goals from 3-point range while the Terriers missed on all 12 of their attempts from distance.

  • The Terriers will hit the road for the final time of the regular season at Bucknell on Saturday, Feb. 29.
