The Boston University field hockey team returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 16) when they travel to upstate New York to take on Colgate. Game time at Tyler's Field is set for noon.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is in search of its first Patriot League win after coming up short against Lafayette last Saturday by a score of 3-1.
- The Terriers held advantages in shots (12-9) and corners (6-3) but allowed the Leopards to score a go-ahead goal in the 50th minute.
- Freshman Payton Anderson continues to lead BU in points (14), goals (6) and shots (34).
- Two of sophomore Thalia Steenssens' three career goals have come in the past three games.Â
- Seniors Rebecca Janes and Casey Thompson are tied for the squad lead in assists with four each.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
- Like BU, the Raiders are also winless in Patriot League play.
- Colgate fell at Holy Cross in overtime, 3-2, last Friday before dropping a 3-0 contest at Syracuse on Sunday.
- Sophomore Ella Corbett leads the Raiders in points (7) and goals (3) while graduate student Taylor Casamassa and senior Carter Leahy each have two goals and an assist.
- In goal, senior Anna Unger has played every minute thus far this season and she currently has a .705 save percentage and a 3.68 goals-against average.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU is 19-1 all-time against the Raiders with the lone loss coming in the first-ever meeting in 1983.
- Last season, the Terriers posted a 2-1 win over Colgate in their home opener.

- BU will return home to take on crosstown rival and 13th-ranked Harvard on Monday (Oct. 18).
