The Boston University women's soccer team will continue its Patriot League schedule on Friday night when the Terriers hit the road to face Lehigh. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU improved to 2-1-0 in conference play with a 3-1 win at Navy this past Saturday.
- Sophomore Abigail McNulty notched a goal and an assist against the Mids, with seniors Jenna Oldham and Amy Thompson also finding the back of the net.
- Thompson and Oldham are now tied with classmate Margaret Berry for the team lead in goals with three apiece.
- Oldham also leads BU in assists (5) and points (11).
- Freshman Celia Braun and junior Gretchen Bennett have split time in all 11 games this season.
- Bennett has allowed just one goal over her last four appearances.
- Braun made a career-high five stops on Sept. 22 against Colgate.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS
- Lehigh is 4-4-1 but is first in the Patriot League with a 2-0-1 mark.
- The Mountain Hawks have earned back-to-back 2-1 wins over Lafayette (Sept. 22) and Holy Cross (Sept. 26).
- Corinne Lyght was named PL Rookie of the Week on Monday after totaling one goal and three assists in those aforementioned triumphs.
- Sophomore Ava Schaller leads Lehigh with four goals and three assists for 11 points.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Violette Bonvallet is 3-3-0 this season and has made 23 saves.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU is 5-1-2 all-time against Lehigh, though the Mountain Hawks won the last meeting, 1-0, in Bethlehem in 2019.
- The Terriers earned a pair of 1-0 home wins against Lehigh in 2018.
- BU has allowed just there goals over the eight contests against Lehigh.
