BOSTON – With just three games remaining in the 2021-22 regular season, the Boston University women's basketball team looks to maintain its position atop the Patriot League when it treks to Lafayette on Wednesday (Feb. 23). Opening tip is slated for 6 p.m.

This week marks BU's final regular season week with two games. Wednesday serves as the penultimate road game, and the last time the Terriers will leave Massachusetts for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, Lafayette plays its fourth home game within the last five contests. After Wednesday, the Leopards close out their regular season at Lehigh and at American. Lafayette is 5-8 at the Kirby Sports Center this year.

TERRIER TIDBITS
	- BU sustained a 64-61 setback to Colgate last Saturday (Feb. 19) at Case Gym.
- The Terriers were held to a season-low two three-pointers, and could not send the game to overtime on a three-pointer in the final seconds that was off the mark.
- Junior Sydney Johnson dropped a game-high 21 points and dished out five assists. Sophomore Caitlin Weimar added 13 points, 11 boards, and four blocks.
- Freshman Alex Giannaros recorded 11 points, while junior Maren Durant snagged 13 rebounds.
- With three games left in the regular season for every team, BU is tied with Holy Cross for first place with an 11-4 league record.
- Both those teams enter Wednesday one game ahead of American, Bucknell, and Lehigh, who all have a 10-5 mark.
- Just two games separate the top six teams in the standings.
- The Terriers own the head-to-head tiebreaker on sixth-place Army after beating them twice. BU has also defeated Holy Cross and Bucknell, but still needs to play one more game against both teams. The Terriers went 1-1 vs. American and 0-2 vs. Lehigh.

- BU enters Wednesday's game 34th in the country with 116 blocked shots, and 38th with 4.5 blocks per game, and 43rd with its .345 three-point percentage.
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
	- Lafayette enters the matchup seventh in the Patriot League with a 5-10 record, and is 9-26 overall.
- The Leopards have lost 10 of their last 12 games, though they have alternated wins and losses in their previous four matchups.
- Lafayette averages 11.9 offensive rebounds per Patriot League game, which is tied for second-most in the league. The Leopards also allow PL opponents to shoot just .371 from the field, though they also average the second-lowest points per game at 54.1.
- Jessica Booth (10.9 points per game, 4.2 assists per game) and Makayla Andrews (10.2 PPG) each average double figures, though reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week Abby Antognoli is Lafayette's leading scorer during PL action.
- Naomi Ganpo's 54 blocks this season are the 26th-most in Division I this season.
SERIES HISTORY
	- Wednesday marks the 28th all-time meeting between BU and Lafayette.
- The Terriers have won four in a row, and are 18-9 in the series.
