KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the 10th consecutive season, both the Boston University men's and women's soccer programs earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (formerly known as the NSCAA). The award is the highest academic team award a program can earn and was given to those that boasted a grade point average of 3.0 or greater during the 2021-22 academic year.
A combined total of 746 soccer teams (220 men, 382 women) from the NCAA, NCCAA and NAIA were recognized, and BU was one of just 130 schools to have both of its programs honored.
Guided by former head coach
Nancy Feldman, the Terrier women earned a GPA of 3.58 for their 14th-straight honor, while the men under head coach
Kevin Nylen claimed their 10th-consecutive award with a 3.22 GPA.
