The Boston University field hockey team will take on its second ranked opponent of the season on Monday when it heads west to visit No. 20 Massachusetts. Due to thunderstorms in the forecast, the start time has been moved to 3 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is coming off a 4-1 home victory over Lehigh in the Patriot League opener on Saturday.
- Sophomore Payton Anderson scored two goals, including the game-winner.
- After the Mountain Hawks got on the board first, BU got an equalizer from Amalia Preece as the freshman notched her first collegiate goal off an assist from classmate Martu Coulo.
- Junior Tess Csejka added the final goal and currently leads the team in points (10) and goals (5).Â
- Graduate student Casey Thompson earned a pair of assists and is tied for the team lead in that category with senior Ellie McIntyre at three apeice.
- Senior Caroline Kelly and junior Kate Thomason have split time down the middle in goal with Kelly holding the edge in save percentage (.667 – .579) and Thomason leading the way in goals-against average at (2.29 - 2.57).

SCOUTING THE MINUTEWOMEN
- UMass also won its conference opener this weekend, topping Saint Louis, 6-1, on Friday to kick off Atlantic 10 play.
- The Minutewomen's two losses this season have come at the hands of top-ranked Northwestern and No. 6 Iowa.
- UMass is 4-0 against New England schools with victories over Maine, UMass Lowell, New Hamsphire and Providence.
- Freshman Mali Herberhold is off to a great start, currently leading the squad in points (14), goals (5) and assists (4).
- Preseason All-A10 pick Jess Beech has added 10 points on four goals and an assist.
- Freshman Myrte van Herwijnen has started all seven games in goal and sports a 2.00 goals-against average to go along with a .696 save percentage.
