BOSTON – Trying to secure the top seed for the upcoming Patriot League tournament, the Boston University men's soccer team will conclude the regular season at Army West Point Wednesday evening with a 6 p.m. start time.

The Terriers are currently in the top spot at 19 points with Loyola Maryland close behind at 17 points. Thanks to Saturday's 3-1 home win over the Greyhounds, BU needs either a win or tie to claim its first Patriot League title since 2014 or for Loyola to fail to beat American. The PL last had two squads reach 20+ points in the standings back in 2019 with BU last reaching the mark in 2015.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is 3-3-2 on the road compared to the 6-0-2 home mark with wins at Bucknell (1-0), Saint Joseph's (1-0) and American (2-1).
  • The Terriers will try to reach double-digit wins for the first time since 2015 (12-6-2) and after combining for 10 wins over the previous two years.
  • Senior Eitan Rosen owns a team-high 18 points off eight goals and two assists, while graduate student Colin Innes has 11 points off seven assists and two goals.
  • Overall, six Terriers have scored multiple goals this fall with four earning multiple assists.

SCOUTING ARMY WEST POINT
  • The 2022 Patriot League regular season champion Black Knights are 2-4-1 at home this season with wins over UAlbany (1-0) and Air Force (3-2). They most recently earned a 1-1 draw against Colgate on Oct. 21.
  • The Black Knights will try to snap a nine-game winless streak (0-5-4) with 1-1 ties against Navy, Lehigh Colgate and Villanova.
  • Gage Lyons leads Army with nine points off four goals and an assist, while both Joey Hickson and Nick Atkinson own two assists apiece.
  • Harrison Faulkner has started 12 games at net, earning a .638 save percentage and 1.75 goals against average.

  • The Terriers are on a five-game winless streak (0-2-3), last winning in 2018 at home, 1-0.
  • In the last two road games, BU fell in 2021 (2-0) and in 2019 (2-1 OT) after winning in 2017, 3-1.
