BOSTON – Wrapping up a three-game homestand, the Boston University men's soccer team will host defending Patriot League champion Navy on Saturday with first touch set for 1 p.m.
The match will be the first of a Soc'toberFest doubleheader at Nickerson Field with the women hosting Lafayette at 4 p.m. Fans can enjoy a cash bar, free food, including cider donuts, wings and sliders, a plastic stein giveaway and more. Gates open at 12 p.m., and admission is free for all fans.
Both BU and Navy are entering the contest on an identical five-game unbeaten streak (3-0-2).
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers are unbeaten at home this season with a 4-0-1 mark following last Saturday's 0-0 draw against Colgate in which BU posted a 16-4 advantage in shots.
- BU is currently tied atop the PL standings at 10 points with Loyola Maryland.
- Senior Francesco Montali recorded his second consecutive shutout against the Raiders following a 3-0 win over Holy Cross. He currently owns a .708 save percentage and 0.78 goals against average.
- Senior Eitan Rosen leads the Terriers with four goals and nine points, while graduate student Quinn Matulis owns seven points (3g,1a). Graduate student Colin Innes is third at six points (1g,4a).

- David Jackson leads Navy with 19 points off seven goals and five assists, while Andrew Schug owns 10 points off five goals.

- Navy owns a 12.9-12.3 shots-per-game advantage, while edging opponents 63-53 in corners.
