TERRIER TIDBITS
	- BU collected its 21st season-opening victory in program history with Monday's win over the River Hawks.
- Senior Caitlin Weimar poured in a career-high 33 points, including the game-winning hook shot to beat the buzzer, along with 12 rebounds.
- Weimar's 33 points were the second-most from a Division I student-athlete on the opening day of the year. It also marked the first 30-point effort from a Terrier in the season lidlifter since Alex Young on Nov. 12, 2010.
- Entering Friday, Weimar needs eight more baskets to reach 300 in a Terrier uniform.
- Junior Alex Giannaros made four three-pointers in a 14-point performance.
- She needs six more triples for 100 in her career. Her .459 career percentage from deep is the best in program history.
- BU shot 45.5 percent from beyond the arc vs. the River Hawks. Last year, the Terriers hit over 45 percent of their three-pointers 11 times.
- Giannaros, senior Sophie Beneventine, and freshman Aoibhe Gormley each posted four assists and three steals against UMass Lowell.
- BU has already won a game this year by less than five points after going 0-4 in such contests in 2022-23.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
	- UNH dispatched the University of New England 73-39 in the Wildcats' season opener on Nov. 6.
- Avery O'Connor was the lone Wildcat in double figures with 18 points.

- New Hampshire was projected to finish eighth in the America East preseason poll after finishing 7-21 in 2022-23, sporting a 2-14 mark against conference foes.
- O'Connor is UNH's leading returning scorer, averaging 12 points per game a year ago.
SERIES HISTORY
