The Eagles started conference play with three straight victories over Colgate (1-0), Loyola Maryland (1-0) and Army West Point (3-1) before dropping a 1-0 decision at Lafayette and most recently, upending Lehigh (3-1) on Oct. 11.

Earlier in the week, both squads came up short in non-conference action. BU fell at home to Northeastern, 3-2, while AU lost at No. 3 West Virginia, 2-0.
