BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team is set to host the Stonehill Skyhawks in the Terriers' third game of the 2025 season at Nickerson Field on Saturday. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.
This is BU's third game in seven days, with the last being a 7-4 win over Sacred Heart on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers allowed just four goals in Wednesday's win, the fewest number of goals allowed since Feb. 16, 2020, when they beat Hartford 22-4.
- BU was down 3-1 at the half before outscoring the Pioneers 6-1 the rest of the way.
- Sophomore Izabella Amonte continued her hot start to her debut campaign, scoring twice and assisting on another, bringing her total to four goals this season, leading the Terriers through two contests.
- BU has started four freshmen through the first two games in Kaitlyn Barton, Alexandra Burns, Eva Stagnaro and Avery Mather.
- Out of that group, Burns leads the Terriers with six ground balls and Barton has grabbed five draw controls.
- Junior Jayne Feeney potted two goals in the win over Sacred Heart.
- Sophomore Natalie Aiosa made eight saves and currently leads the Patriot League with 20 saves through two contests.
- Senior Hannah Tillier, junior Elle Stevenson and sophomore Tessa Geddes all added a goal.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
- The Skyhawks have yet to play a contest this season.

- Stonehill returns their top goal scorer in Grace Murphy, who netted 57 tallies a year ago as a freshman.
- The Skyhawks also return senior midfielder Sofia D'Agostino, an All-NEC First Team honoree who scored 28 goals and finished second on the team in draw controls with 60.
THE SERIES
- BU is 2-0 against Stonehill and 1-0 at home.
- BU won the last meeting between these two teams, 16-15, on a last-second goal by Hannah Tillier.
