BOSTON – Marking its seventh consecutive appearance in the Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal round, the No. 8-seed Boston University women's basketball program visits No. 1-seed Lehigh on Monday, March 10. Opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
 
BU (12-18, 5-13 PL) looks to boost its quarterfinal winning streak to six games. The Terriers have won at least one Patriot League Tournament contest in each of the last six seasons.
 
Lehigh (24-6, 15-3 PL) hosts its first Patriot League Tournament matchup since March 7, 2021. The Mountain Hawks have advanced to the semifinals in four of the last six seasons.
 
Monday's game airs on ESPN+ beginning at the top of the hour. Lehigh Athletics will provide live statistics while the Patriot League will supply an international broadcast.
 
TERRIER TIDBITS

• The Terriers capped their time at Case Gym in 2024-25 with a 75-51 victory over 9-seed Loyola Maryland in the first round on March 8.
• BU never trailed, dropping 26 and 27 points in the first and third quarter, respectively, and shot nearly 51 percent from the field.
• Four Terriers scored in double figures: junior Anete Adler (13 points), sophomores Audrey Ericksen and Sisi Bentley (11 each) and senior Alex Giannaros (10).

• Sophomore Aoibhe Gormley needs six more assists to reach 100 this season, which would mark the first time since 2022-23 that a Terrier reached that plateau. 

SCOUTING LEHIGH

• The Mountain Hawks earned their third-ever Patriot League regular season championship and first since 2010 after finishing the conference slate with a 15-3 record.
• Lehigh last played on March 5, falling to Colgate on the road, 78-59.
• Head coach Addie Micir was named Patriot League Coach of the Year.
• Three Mountain Hawks earned All-Patriot League honors: Maddie Albrecht (First Team), Ella Stemmer (Second Team) and Belle Bramer (All-Rookie).
• Lehigh tops the league in scoring average, field goal percentage, opponent three-point percentage, free throw percentage and steals per game. 

SERIES HISTORY

• Monday marks the 27th all-time meeting between BU and Lehigh in a series that began in 1989.
• The series is tied at 13-13.
• Lehigh is 1-0 over BU in the Patriot League Tournament from its 2021 championship game victory.
